Only: a monologue

you never gave me a chance to speak my mind, on how i felt when you made these lifechanging decisions. i am only your child but surely i had more than a little bit of influence in your considerations?

2 years.2 people. 2 parents. 2 lives. and when i return, just 2 will be left.

i don't know how to say goodbye.
