blog bog

as apparent from my lack of regular blogging, one has no trouble concluding that I either 1)have lost interest in the activity 2)lead a really kick-ass boring (or on the extreme end, exciting)life 3)am a dead beat. Which of these i am, up to you to find out or decide.

sighh.

When i finally started this blog, i made a promise to myself that Laundrydays would not be left in utero (as did my previous attempts at creating blogs), be left unfed and eventually die a virtual death without reason, or become a burden to upkeep. Of late, it has been a little bit of all three - and I honestly don't know what to do.

But if anything, i want this blog to serve the purpose of being an extension of self. I reveal aspects of my life selectively, write what i want to write (as long as it is nothing that hurts/defames anyone). And i don't want to write for popularity, unlike some blogs that I used to read but of late have become, urgh, ever so conscious of their fame (and i'm not naming who or what).

But i totally respect tomorrow.sg and the bloggers who have been investing their time and effort into shaping the Singapore blogging community. Some of those bloggers, they keep it real, true-blue Ali G fashion.

I also want to keep it real.;-)

So i shall stop caring if people read my blog and base my updates on who/how many people read. This was never meant to be an 'online diary', the sort that goes today i woke up and went to school sort of blog. And this is the Internet baby. Even if my friends gave up and stopped visiting, there are bound to be blogwhores/virtual stalkers/enemies/wackos out there who will stalk/come across this space. So in a way, i will have a 'fan base', no matter what. ;-) And im kidding because that is so not the point.
